Change the chroma background colour in the Settings page of the app.

Using the Key/Fill windows

Drag the both windows offscreen and use CMD/CTRL+F to toggle fullscreen mode.

Outputting to devices

Output to a video switcher (Chroma)

Connect your Mac or PC to a video switcher and turn off ‘Mirror Displays’.

Drag the Chroma graphics window offscreen and use CMD/CTRL+F to toggle fullscreen mode.

Use an Upstream Key in your video switcher and set the source to your Mac or PCs input. Turn on the Upstream Key.

Adjust the chroma settings to properly key out the chroma colour that you have chosen. You may need to play with these settings for a while to get the best results.

Output to a video switcher (Key/Fill)

Connect your Mac or PC to a video switcher and turn off ‘Mirror Displays’. You’ll need two HDMI outputs for the Key/Fill option.

Drag the Key and Fill graphics windows offscreen to two different extended displays and use CMD/CTRL+F to toggle fullscreen mode.

Use an Upstream Key in your video switcher, set it to Luma mode and set the Key/Fill sources according to the whichever inputs you chose when connecting your Mac or PC. Turn on the Upstream Key.

Choose ‘Premultiplied Key’ (or similar) and the graphics should be properly keyed out.

When using the Key/Fill output option, you will want to supply a normal logo and an alpha version for appropriate keying. Remember, if you are using the Chroma output window only then skip this step.

For best results, take your logo into Photoshop (or similar) and paint black anywhere that you want to hide, white where you want to show, and grey where you want to be semi-transparent.
