What is this tool?
The Here to Record Streaming XML generator allows you to generate custom XML files for use with Blackmagic Design streaming hardware.
It should work nicely with:
- Web Presenter HD
- Web Presenter 4K
- ATEM Mini Pro, ATEM Mini Pro ISO
- ATEM Mini Extreme, ATEM Mini Extreme ISO
- ATEM SDI Pro ISO, ATEM SDI Extreme ISO
- ATEM Television Studio HD8, ATEM Television Studio HD8 ISO
Why though?
Blackmagic Design streaming devices are capable of streaming high-quality video content to a range of streaming services however, by default, they don't include all streaming destinations.
This tool was made to help you avoid cracking open a code editor and playing with XML.
Backup URL
Use the "Backup URL" feature of the Streaming XML generator to add a secondary streaming URL to your XML file. This is handy for ensuring you have a backup plan during show time.
Authentication
Enable "Add authentication" in order to stream to destination that have an extra layer of security. You'll find the "Username" and "Password" within the admin console of your streaming destination.
